WellCraft Drilling is a family-owned water well drilling company based in Athol, Idaho, and a DBA of MM&I Logging Inc. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our website, call us, text us or fill out a form, what we do with it, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information to answer you and to do the job you asked about. We do not sell it.

Who we are

In this policy, "WellCraft Drilling," "we," "us" and "our" mean MM&I Logging Inc, doing business as WellCraft Drilling, a water well drilling contractor licensed by the Idaho Department of Water Resources. "You" means anyone who visits wellcraftdrilling.com or contacts us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a form, call, text or email us, you may give us:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • The town or location of your property, and details about it, such as access for a drilling rig, an existing well, or where your septic system sits.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us about your project.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours collects some information on its own when you visit, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies, pixels and similar tools used by our website platform and by advertising and analytics services such as Meta (Facebook) and Google.

Calls and messages

Our phone system keeps a record of calls and text messages with our business number, and calls may be recorded for quality and training. If we missed your call, our system may send you an automatic text so you know we will call you back.

How we use your information

  • To call, text or email you back about your well and to schedule a site visit.
  • To prepare estimates, file required permits, and do the work you hire us for.
  • To send appointment reminders, job updates and, after a job, a request for a review.
  • To keep records the law requires, including well construction records filed with the State of Idaho.
  • To understand how people use our website and to show our ads to people who may need a well.
  • To protect our business and our customers from fraud or misuse.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, for example by checking the consent box on a form or by texting us first, we may send you text messages about your inquiry, estimates, scheduling, job updates and review requests.

  • Frequency: message frequency varies with your project.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We will send one message confirming you have opted out.
  • Help: reply HELP, or call us at (208) 295-0155.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any service from us.

Your mobile information stays with us. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing described in this policy excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. That information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only in these cases:

  • Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website and customer management platform, our phone and texting provider, email, scheduling and payment tools. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Our pump contractor. We drill wells. A pump contractor we work with sets the pump. If you ask us to line that up, we share your name, phone number and property location with them so they can contact you.
  • Government agencies when the law requires it, such as the well construction permit and well driller's report we file with the Idaho Department of Water Resources.
  • Legal reasons, such as responding to a subpoena or court order, or protecting our rights, property or safety, or yours.
  • A business transfer, if WellCraft Drilling is ever sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

How long we keep information

We keep your information as long as we need it to answer you, do the work, keep required business and well records, and resolve any questions later. Well records connected to a property may be kept for many years because they stay useful to the property owner.

How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and secure, reputable service providers, to protect your information. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can stop texts or emails at any time.
